A Brief History of Lema’ Association and Weaving Workshops Including Home Stay
Lema’ Association was founded in San Juan La Laguna, Sololá, Guatemala, by a group of Tz’utujil women to preserve their ancestral weaving and dyeing techniques. These techniques have been passed down through generations and represent a rich cultural heritage.
The association’s goals:
