Each of our Lake Atitlan Artists have their own specialty in handicrafts. Some pieces of Art are set against the mountain sides and at the base of the volcanoes. Wood sculptures are rare and hard to find around Lake Atitlan. I feel we have the largest college of Original Art in the Lake Atitlan Artist Gallery.
Before coming to Guatemala many of my customers write to me with questions and concerns. I am a Canadian living here for the past 20 years and I do know the area quite well.

Lake Atitlan
The town itself boasts of a couple of Art Galleries, good restaurants, and night spots with live music and fun atmospheres. During the day you can shop for hand-made Guatemalan fabrics and souvenirs, tour the villages around the lake, climb a volcano, or simply relax and enjoy your surroundings.
Designs of Artisans original works were stolen, copied and produced in other countries violating the Copyrights of the Guatemalan Artisans.
