Where to Stay

There are many places to stay in San Marcos.  A few of the locations we would recommend are the following.  El Dragon Hotel is unique in that it is located directly on the shores of Lake Atitlan.  The hotel has clean, large rooms and absolutely stunning views of the lake.

We also recommend the Lush apartments which have seven unique suites and three rooms available for rent.

The furniture in the rooms is locally made and the art in each room is unique and one-of-a-kind.  Most of the suites have incredible views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes, as well as a private terrace or balcony, offering guests a harmonious balance with the surrounding nature.
