My Thanksgiving Message to friends, family, and loved ones. Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Liberia.
It began as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Similarly named festival holidays to occur in Germany and Japan. Each year I used to write a message of Thanks to friends, family, and loved ones.
The Covid Pandemic sidetracked my words for the last two years. We remain in the grips of Covid 19 depending on the country this message will reach. For millions,
Thanksgiving will be spent in hospitals, shelters, on the streets of cities, with little to be thankful for millions.
Many three years ago had a life, today they will not be enjoying a feast of Turkey, Black Friday Sales, and Cyber Monday.
Please take a moment of your time to think about those less fortunate as your family enjoys your own Thanksgiving feast.
My Thanksgiving Message to all.
I am one of the fortunate ones to have survived coronavirus, most of my friends and loved ones have escaped this disease.
Countries are divided about what to do, news channels and social media consumes and fills our lives with information we do not need.
However, this year it may be harder to get together in person and celebrate as usual because of coronavirus.
It almost feels even more important this year to let your friends and family know that you’re still thinking of them and that you’re thankful for their presence in your life.
Take five minutes and connect, call, do something on Thanksgiving.
My Thanksgiving Message to loved ones.
A loved one once told me “You are a fighter” that I am. For many of my loved ones, we remain separated. Be thankful we are alive and together we will make it through these times.
I will not celebrate with a Turkey feast, only holding my thoughts for all on this day.
All my love James.
