Lake Atitlan Art Exhibition | Bringing Art and Culture Together

Lake Atitlan Art Gallery will come alive with the colors and textures of the artists of Lake Atitlan.

The multifaceted exhibition will include oil paintings by the renowned Vásquez Mendoza family of San Juan La Laguna as well as paintings by Juan Francisco Guzman a native of Santiago Atitlan, Solala.

A key characteristic of these painters is that they infuse their paintings with a vibrant and colorful approach with designs connecting people, place and spirit.

Along with the painters of Lake Atitlan the art exhibition will also showcase products by leather craftsman Nicolas Pop of San Juan La Laguna.  Using quality leather Nicolas has been fashioning beautifully handmade intricate handbags, totes, shoes, belts, backpacks, and wallets with genuine love, passion and care for over 15 years.
