I Love Lake Atitlan Guatemala

Let me begin by saying I like to be outside and I love the warm weather and the sun.

I think that having shoveled snow in the Midwest for the vast majority of my life has convinced me that I want to live in a warm climate for the rest of my life.

Shoveling snow aside, I love the way that the sun feels on my skin.  And I also like the fact that it is a T-shirt and short weather year-round in here.

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala has some of the friendliest locals that I have met anywhere, they always greet me with a big smile and a warm hug.

Not only do they treat me well, the indigenous culture is rich in history and tradition.
